Lincoln Middle School students have once again displayed continued success with the Illinois Standardized Achievement Testing (ISAT) during the 2008 -2009 school year.  This year's test scores mark the sixth year that Lincoln has made Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) as mandated by the state.  Scores reflect an 11% increase in Reading and a 4% increase in Mathematics, well above the percentages defined by the state.  As indicated in the chart below, growth has been continual and more then 85% of our students are meeting or exceeding state standards.  Our goal this year is to continue working on curriculum and instruction that will address the educational needs of our students and implement initiatives that will promote further success for students.
